1956 Buick Special Coupe 322 V8 variable pitch Dynaflow transmission

VIN 4C2056242

Here is your chance to purchase a  1956 Buick special two door
pillarless. The Buick is a very solid car with all original panels and
99% rust free -has two very small rust spots .The paint which is two
tone blue is older but very presentable-has one small scrape on lower RH
fender and a few paint chips but otherwise decent.

Interior is all original and show OK for being  64 years old.Seat
upholstery has been redone in a blue vinyl and is fine for a daily
driver. All dash guages work except for speedo.

Exterior chrome and stainless all complete and in good condition -one
piece of flat glass is cracked on RH side but being flat easy
replacement-Buick comes with  a new correct outside mirror and a few
interior handles. Buick has manual steering and brakes but has  a power
steering conversion in boot ( not sure of brand). Buick steers well
.Buick has had a recent tune up and carb replaced with an Edelbrock 4V
which works fine .Has an electric fuel pump but i would go back to an
original mechanical pump. Also has a new set of white wall radial tyres.

This is a top example of a Buick two door and a rare opportunity for a
buyer to purchase a great car -compare this car to a 1956 Chev two door
- Buicks have bigger engines ,more horsepower and are better buying .

1955 Buick Century Coupe 322 V8 Auto

VIN 6B204998

This is a fine example of a 1955 Buick 2 door pillarless Century. Very original unrestored car with the correct 322 V8 engine and two speed power glide trans, other options include power steering and power windows (they work just need a little WD 40).

The Buick which is a fantastic car for resto, starts, runs and stops but would not be considered a driver due to a bad water pump. There is an $800 set of New American Classic wide white wall tyres on this car (new stickers still on treads). The body on the Buick is impressive with virtually no rust at all.

Mint and original colour inside boot with original cardboard still intact. Buick has had only one same colour repaint some time ago. All chrome and stainless trim is intact and in good condition except for one small missing piece near RH rear wheel.

Blue interior is original  and has never been redone. Dash is excellent with functional guages. Original  radio and new correct carpet kit just intalled, cracked glass on passenger side door (not a problem  as glass is flat). One could say this is a bit of a time warp Buick - similar cars are becoming very hard to locate.

Easy resto candidate with no hassling on rust repairs. Reasonably priced Buick. Note these Buicks were called Century as Buick stuffed the biggest engine available that year in the smallest body, these cars could top the ton and made mincemeat of Chevrolet in traffic light drags.

1955 Chevrolet Apache Stepside V8 Auto

VIN M255OO19000

Here we have an excellent bodied 55 Chev that rarely becomes available in such clean condition -becoming very hard to source -this one came from a friend up near San Jose -it was his mates truck.Chev has 4 wheel disc brakes  -i cannot find any rust in this truck -floors and rails are perfect -see interior shots -will need a new bed  but a nice Tasmanian oak would do the job. Truck has the old style Klaxon horn ,sounds great. Does have ford hubcaps but they can be replaced with Chev

1955 Ford Thunderbird 292 V8 auto

VIN P5FH152677

Here is another example of an early T Bird for restoration - this type of T Bird is getting extremely hard to source- this one is optioned with power assist brakes, power seat and hardtop.Note there is no softop with this T Bird.Original exterior colour is Torch Red with 2 tone red/white interior.Very little paint left on T Bird so removal of balance will be easy.Car has all original body panels and floors with only minor rust and filler on rear quarters-no replacement panels needed. The prior owner claimed engine has been rebuilt but I have no papers to confirm this. Engine did fire up with petrol in carby .T Bird has correct air cleaner and carby .Valve covers appear to be 1956.This is a great resto project for someone post virus . Comes with some parts and new front bumper bar.
